Yellow Submarine Glamping Reviews
What our happy Submariners say
We love reviews, from the bad ones we bribed google to delete* to the good ones that we wrote ourselves**
*Not true, we really didn’t, because there aren’t any. **Nor this (We were tempted tho…)
What are true are the kind reviews written by our happy Submariners;
Yellow submarine was ace! Absolutely loved it! Our son was super excited, all the buttons and levers were great fun. Very well equipped, nothing not to like!
The novelty as our 2 year old loved it with the switches that he could play with. Also plenty of room for him to run around outside and to explore. Nice touches leaving tea bags coffee and sugar for our arrival.
Unforgettable. If you're in the area, book it!
The perfect family stay. Everything was amazing. From start to finish it was a complete blast. The views were incredible. Everyone on site is incredibly helpful and polite. The submarine was nothing short of magical!
The bed was so super comfy. It was a treat to have running water, a bbq already set up and a fridge. It wasn't too far from the showers and toilets or from our friends camping in another field. We loved all the buttons! We kept finding more buttons and lights over the weekend, it was so much fun. The food available for breakfast was excellent too and all staff were super helpful.
Themed overnight stay – a real adventure for the whole family. If it weren't for this yellow little boat, we probably would’ve never discovered such a cozy town like Cheddar and its surroundings. Located in a large campsite, you can grill your own food, meet other fun people, sit by the campfire, and have a good time together.
It was amazing and great fun. Bed was so comfortable. We had everything we needed. Wonderful experience for the kids, staff always cleaning the showers and toilets, great location, recommended to friends.
Unique and the children loved it, bed was really comfy. Had more inside than we thought. Working sink, fridge and cooking area although we only used the bbq. Outdoor fire pit to finish the nights off.
Had a fantastic stay in the yellow submarine which was a nice surprise for my mum for mothers day. It was cosy, there was and instruction manual which helped with information about the submarine and a QR code sticker which gave us more information about the site and things to do around the area. At night, we were grateful for the heater and when having breakfast or dinner, we found the kitchen to be just right for a short stay and appreciate the sink to do our washing up in. Lovely site with so much space and very well maintained.
An awesome unique place to stay! We absolutely loved our stay here! The most unique place and such a cool spot that had my daughter thoroughly entertained for our entire stay. The submarine is amazing and the inside just fab, equipped with everything you could need and 2 extremely comfy beds. My daughter never stays in her own bed all night but she did here every night in the high up bed by the steering wheel of the submarine! Staff were extremely welcoming and helped us with anything - gave my daughter a ride in the tractor and provided us with firewood to make a camp fire. There's a playing area in the centre of the field where the kids all got together and played which was nice. Great location. If you like glamping and staying somewhere a bit different then the yellow submarine is perfect!
Amazing time in the submarine- very clearly described. Linen of excellent quality and extremely clean. Nothing was too much trouble, the campsite had a lovely vibe. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. We would absolutely stay again!!
Magical memories of a fun & unique glamping experience. We received a lovely warm welcome on our arrival. The communal facilities were clean and our little girl loved the rustic playground with tractor and old van. The submarine is so unique and so much fun for little ones- and adults too! Our little girl’s imagination ran wild playing with the all the buttons and wheels. I loved the attention to detail with all the humorous little plaques and sea creatures. And we really appreciated the sweet treat of marshmallows to toast! The beds were also surprisingly really comfortable - we would happily have slept a whole week in the submarine. We really were over the moon with our glamping experience in the yellow submarine! We made memories we will cherish.
Best weekend ever - Took my 10 year old grandson for a camping trip to have fun in the outdoors & the submarine provided all we needed. Unique, interesting, fun & magical. Lots of attention to detail. Warm & the most comfortable bed. Everything you need from tea & coffee & a lovely whistling kettle. The staff were friendly & helpful
My 2 boys (13 and 9) and I stayed 2 nights in the Yellow Submarine and it was great fun! The controls and labels and various flashing lights were hilarious and the hatches and portholes were brilliant, all very authentic. My boys were convinced it had been a real sub once and totally loved the ‘history’ section of the welcome pack. The beds and sofa bed had comfy mattresses and it was good to have a little sink, fridge and hob inside. Really well stocked with sheets and duvets, plates, cutlery and pan and there was a lovely care package including tea coffee cereal boxes and marshmallows for the fire. There was even a heater/cooler so we didn’t get cold at night. Loved it!
To all our kind Review-er-ists, we thank you!
